I have an emergency here with some Conservatives.
I need the conversation in which David Cross said he reads other-than U.S. news to get the straight story.
I don't have exact quotes so a link would help. I love you guys, thanks.
I could not believe my eyes when I saw this 'Yacht'. It is too amazing to be true. But it is. I just thought that everyone here... might, possibly enjoy this. Also.... season 3 of arrested comes out in 3 days! Who is as excited as I am?!?!?
nothing says fun like an MOW on Lifetime!

"The Rapes of Graff" originally aired on Wedesday March 29th, but it is being shown again tomorrow night at 10PM on UPN38 here in Boston. Some cities air a rerun earlier on Saturday, some on Sunday night. Check your local listings or your UPN affiliate's website for more information.
You really do need to see it. As much as I love George Michael and Maeby, it is great to see them in other roles. ( See for yourself. Caps under the cutCollapse )
Psst, they don't play cousins either.
You can customize all the links and make it your homepage. If you get lost (or just don't get it) there's also an FAQ.
Unrelated - what's the latest update on the showtime rumors? Anything yet?
THAT fans of "Arrested Development" can relax. Word is Showtime not only picked up the canceled Fox show but also ordered 26 more episodes . . .
George Michael Is Reportedly Arrested
HAHAHAHA. Am I the only one who thought of the Bluths?
So I went to a short film festival in Brookline last night. I enjoyed many of the submissions, but I have to admit to squeeing like a school girl when I saw Michael Cera get out of the car in the opening shot of Darling, Darling. I don't want to give too much away because the shock of it of all is part of the fun, but poor Harold is put in situations even George Michael would consider awkward. The 13-minute short is not available for download (or if it is, I couldn't find it), but you can watch the trailer on the filmmaker's website. It plays at the Coolidge Corner Theater again tonight and at the Florida Film Festival in Orlando, March 24th - April 4th.
Alright, another one, I've just been sitting around recently watching AD a lot, and have found another silly random thing. I love the recurrences on this show, this screenshot is from Prison Break, and is at the end when G.O.B. gets pressed up against the window of the congujal (spelling that wrong I'm sure) trailer that George Sr. and Lucille are using, AGAIN! The funny thing that I noticed, was the small figure in a jetpack and orange suit in the top left corner of the screen... an inmate riding the jetpack that was lost earlier in the episode when G.O.B. forgot to do up the strap... and instead, went to plan B! The stomach map! Ok I'm getting off topic, I had to rewind this and watch it four times just to laugh at all the different funny things that happen in it, look for yourselves, you'll see. Make sure you squint into the light...
( Wait! Not here, hey wait, I've seen this before... Oh god I've seen this before, uuhhh...Collapse )
I notice that both of my pictures show G.O.B. in sticky situations, but thats just what happens when you make a living as a Magician. I guess.
In the image below, we see GOB in his (oops revealing) banana outfit, and if you look closer, see Lindsay covering Maeby's eyes. In this screenshot at least it looks like shes trying to be a good mother, but if you keep watching, you see she takes her hand away almost immediately, I was watching this and caught that, and almost died laughing.
( Mr. Banana Grabber gets the clawCollapse ) Oh my, what a silly show.
I like the feature on google.com where you type in define: word and substitute in the word you want defined.
Earlier today, I typed in define: ruefully and received this definition:
in a rueful manner; "'I made a big mistake,' he said ruefully"
Of course, it immediately made me think of AD. :)
OKay...I'm new to the community. I've been hearing roumors about Arrested being cancelled, and although I am IN LOVE with the show, i don't regularly watch it. I own seasons 1 and 2 on DVD, but when it comes on TV..I just don't have the time (sometimes) to tune in. Now, I want to start watching regularly, so...for season 3, what day and time is it on? I know it used to be Sundays at 8:30, but i'm hearing things about Monday at 8? is that right?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D thanks
from the www.cynopsis.com:
What's up with Arrested Development? While it seems to be on the cancelled list at Fox (tho not officially), there is word other networks may be interested in picking it up. Among the rumored interested parties are ABC and Showtime. It should be noted, however, contractually nothing official can happen until the show is truly cancelled by Fox. Also there are significant financial considerations at hand -- including the show's $1.6 million per episode price tag, and let's not forget about the millions in deficit financing 20th has already put into the show. One way to offset the financial losses to date is syndication, tho when production this season concludes the show will be 36 episodes shy of a syndication deal which needs a minimum of 88 eps in the can to launch. If either ABC or Showtime are real contenders for this show, this may have to make a very serious commitment for the jump to make sense for 20th, who would continue to produce (and continue with deficit financing).
